Membership of LRV is divided into two categories:

• Full Membership, which is open to any refugee-led community organisation that is interested in furthering LRV’s work;
• Associate Membership, which is open to any corporate body or unincorporated association that is interested in furthering LRV’s work.

Member organisations appoint individuals to represent them at LRV meetings, and can appoint an alternative person if the appointed representative is unable to attend. Only Full Member organisations are entitled to vote, and some meetings or parts of meetings may be open only to Full Member organisations.
